[SMM Daily Transaction Volume of Hot-rolled Coils] On August 1, the total daily transaction volume of hot-rolled coils from sample enterprises in SMM's three cities (Shanghai, Lecong, and Tianjin) reached 9,940 tons, a daily decrease of 3,210 tons, or -24.4% compared to the previous day.

Today, the price of hot-rolled coils opened high but closed low. The spot market saw weak trading, with terminals adopting a cautious attitude, and traders primarily focused on price concessions to secure deals.
