[SMM Brief Analysis: What Are the Reasons for the Continuous Expansion of the Price Gap between Domestic and Foreign Iron Ore?] Recently, SMM monitoring shows that the price gap between domestic and foreign iron ore has continued to expand. Since June, this price gap has begun to expand, and the expansion trend has become more significant since July. By July 19, the price gap between domestic and foreign has increased to 119 yuan/ton, reaching a new high. SMM has analyzed two reasons: high inventory of imported concentrate powder versus large regional differences in the supply of domestic concentrate powder.
