NEWRIZON, Weineng Battery Asset team up on battery tech, data intelligence

NEWRIZON, a Chinese startup focusing on intelligent new energy commercial vehicles, and Wuhan Weineng Battery Asset Co., Ltd. (Weineng) have recently formed a strategic partnership.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NEWRIZON, a Chinese startup focusing on intelligent new energy commercial vehicles, and Wuhan Weineng Battery Asset Co., Ltd. ("Weineng") have recently formed a strategic partnership. This collaboration leverages their respective core strengths to initiate comprehensive cooperation in multiple areas, including battery technology, data intelligence, and asset management.

Through the partnership, NEWRIZON aims to enhance the performance and quality of its new energy vehicles (NEVs) by utilizing Weineng's expertise in battery asset management. This collaboration is set to meet users' demands for more efficient and safer battery systems. Concurrently, Weineng will expand the application scenarios and market scope of its battery asset management services through its cooperation with NEWRIZON, providing premium and convenient services to more NEV users.

Founded in 2020, Weineng pioneered a comprehensive battery lifecycle management service model. This model is based on car-battery separation technology, battery swapping networks, and battery standardization concepts, offering end-users services that include battery asset leasing, digital management, and retirement recycling. Weineng said it has deeply accumulated capabilities in battery technology, data intelligence, and asset management, thoroughly exploring the economic and climate benefits of power batteries.

NEWRIZON has launched EC1 and IC1 new energy light-duty truck models and has built a comprehensive energy replenishment system that includes electric vehicle (EV) charging and battery swapping stations, and an app for EV charging. NEWRIZON has also successfully established battery swapping stations for new energy light-duty trucks and has made advancements in intelligent driving, intelligent connectivity, and intelligent interaction.
