【China's crude steel production in May was 92.86 million tons】

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics: In May 2024, China's crude steel production was 92.86 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%; pig iron production was 76.13 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%; steel production was 122.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%. From January to May, China's crude steel production was 438.61 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%; pig iron production was 361.13 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.7%; steel production was 574.05 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%.
