【China Iron and Steel Association: social steel stockpile of 10.61 million tons in late May, down 4.7% from the previous month】According to the data of China Iron and Steel Association, in late May, the social steel stockpile of five major varieties in 21 cities was 10.61 million tons, a decrease of 0.52 million tons and 4.7% from the previous month, with the stockpile decreasing continuously; a decrease of 1.38 million tons and 11.5% from late April; an increase of 3.32 million tons and 45.5% from the beginning of the year; an increase of 0.3 million tons and 2.9% from the same period last year.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
