[Domestic Iron Ore Brief Comment: The price in Liaoxi area is on the strong side with fluctuations] The trading atmosphere in Liaoxi market is acceptable. As futures are on the rise, the mills' confidence has been boosted and their asking prices are firm. As for supply, the production of local ore-selecting fine powder is still tight. Due to the accident at the beginning of the month, the local supply of explosives is limited. Except for the accident site Chaoyang County, the other areas have resumed normal production in the middle of the month.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month.
