Beijing (Gasgoo)- On May 9, Chery's premium brand EXEED officially put the STERRA ET new energy SUV onto the market. Since the start of pre-sales on April 15, as of 6:00 pm on May 9, the STERRA ET received 18,397 fixed orders, said Chery.

As a high-end new energy vehicle model under Chery, the STERRA ET offers 8 variants upon its market launch, including both range extended electric (REEV) and battery electric (BEV) powertrain options. 

The STERRA ET REEV offers three trim levels priced at 189,800 yuan to 225,800 yuan. Meanwhile, the BEV lineup comes with five variants with a price range between 229,800 yuan  and 319,800 yuan.

The STERRA ET BEV boasts a maximum range of 760 km. It is equipped with CATL's Shenxing ultra-fast charging battery, which can be charged with 475-km of range in just 11.5 minutes. The vehicle can be charged from 20% to 80% of its capacity within 24 minutes even in -20°C low-temperature conditions.

Positioned as the first SUV model in EXEED’s STERRA range, the STERRA ET achieves unparalleled comfort. With a length of nearly 5 meters, a wheelbase of 3 meters, 3.45m³ of effective cargo space, and 1.57㎡ of panoramic sunroof area, the interior offers both spaciousness and brightness.

Built on Chery's latest EEA 5.0, the STERRA ET features an all-domain SOA, supporting advanced intelligent driving functions and a cutting-edge intelligent cockpit 6.0 system.

Equipped with 30 high-performance sensors and NVIDIA DRIVE ORIN chip with up to 508 TOPS computing power, the STERRA ET ensures safer NEP full-scenario intelligent driving assistance.
