Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding Group, officially put the ZEEKR 009 Grand model onto the market on April 19. The new vehicle is the deluxe four-seater version of the all-electric ZEEKR 009 MPV, coming at a starting price of 789,000 yuan.
The new car adopts a four-seat layout, with two independent seats in the rear row. It pioneers the integrated die-cast "C-ring seats", with instant impact resistance equivalent to 23 tonnes and deformation of less than 3 cm. It also introduces the world's first adaptive safety airbags, including seat cushion-adaptive airbags and integrated head-chest adaptive side airbags. The new vehicle is equipped with round-the-clock real-time satellite communication technology, supporting bidirectional satellite messaging and satellite calls.
The ZEEKR 009 Grand is equipped with the "Intelligent Triple Protection Ventilation System", providing pleasant in-cabin air quality. By activating the negative ion generator inside the cockpit, the concentration of negative oxygen ions at each breathing point of the passengers can reach 6,000 per cubic centimeter in as fast as 5 seconds, peaking at over 100,000.
The new model comes standard with an infotainment system and features a partition to separate the driver's compartment from the passenger compartment, providing more privacy for rear-seat passengers.
It introduces the industry's first dual electronic safes, each with customizable passwords. This new model also pioneers "Privacy Mode", enabling one-touch-cleaning of over a dozen usage histories including Bluetooth and WiFi.
Additionally, ZEEKR collaborates with BOE to introduce LC light curtain glass (four glasses of the passenger compartment) on the ZEEKR 009 Grand model. In its darkest state, this light curtain glass presents a pure black color, with a light transmittance of only 0.5%. With 10 levels of brightness adjustment, the fastest dimming takes only 1.5 seconds.
The new vehicle inherits the visionary style of the ZEEKR 009, but with some adjustments in details. It features the large-sized DARK BADGE black front grille, equipped with 20-inch floating forged wheels, complemented by a pure black body and chrome accents.
In terms of dimensions, the ZEEKR 009 Grand measures 5,217mm in length, 2,024mm in width, and 1,812mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,205mm, featuring a slight difference from the existing ZEEKR 009 in length and height.
The infotainment system on the ZEEKR 009 Grand is powered by two Qualcomm 8295 chips, respectively supporting the front and rear cabin. The new vehicle incorporates the latest ZEEKR OS 6.0, allowing up to 64 apps running in the background, ready to use at any time.
Furthermore, the new model comes equipped with a 43-inch mini LED smart screen on the partition, combined with a 31-speaker Yamaha Surround Sound system.
There's also a refrigerator in the ZEEKR 009 Grand. With an 18-liter volume, it features both cooling and heating capabilities, and a built-in ultraviolet sterilization function.
Power-wise, the ZEEKR 009 Grand is equipped with SiC-powered e-motors, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Built on an enhanced 800V electrical system, with CATL’s Qilin batteries, the new model has a driving range of 702km (CLTC) and can charge over 500km of driving range within 12 minutes.
