Arcadium Lithium announced that the company's total brine-based lithium production in 2023 will be 40,000 tons of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE). For 2024, the company's total production guidance is 52,000 to 57,000 tons of LCE, representing an increase of approximately 15,000 tons year-on-year.
Within this, the 10,000-ton expansion project at the Hombre Muerto salt lake was completed in Q3 2023, with a 2024 capacity utilization target of 75%. Additionally, the 25,000-ton Stage 2 expansion project at the Olaroz salt lake is scheduled to commence production in July 2023, with a 2024 capacity utilization target of 40%.
This substantial increase in Arcadium Lithium's 2024 production guidance reflects the company's successful execution of its expansion projects, which will significantly boost its lithium output capabilities in the coming year.
