GAC Group has achieved an energy density of over 400Wh/kg with the third-generation sponge silicon negative electrode and high-capacity solid-state positive electrode. This is a 52% increase in volume energy density and a 50% increase in mass energy density compared to the currently produced liquid lithium-ion batteries, with a range of over 1000 kilometers. In addition, the individual capacity of the solid-state battery has surpassed 30Ah. GAC Aion aims to complete the development of solid-state batteries by 2026, and they will first be installed in the hyper model.
