【World Steel Association: Global Steel Demand to Rebound by 1.7% in 2024】

According to the World Steel Association's official account, the World Steel Association released the latest version of its short-term (2024-2025) steel demand forecast report on the 9th. The report shows that global steel demand is expected to rebound by 1.7% in 2024, reaching 1.793 billion tons. In 2025, global steel demand is expected to increase by 1.2%, reaching 1.815 billion tons.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
