【Panel factories AUO and Innolux: Earthquake has no major impact on overall operations and shipments】
AUO and Innolux factories were recently affected by the earthquake in Taiwan. Both companies have stated that there is no major impact on their overall operations and shipments. AUO announced today that part of the production capacity at their Longtan factory was affected. Apart from conducting system checks, they have coordinated with customers and adjusted production capacity in other factories to maintain normal shipping schedules. The extent of financial losses is still being assessed, but as they are covered by insurance, it is estimated that the losses will not have a major impact on the company's operations. In summary, there is no major impact on AUO's overall operations and shipments. Innolux also reiterated today that they immediately followed standard procedures, shut down some machines preventatively, conducted system checks, and resumed operations on April 3 with limited impact on factory operations. There is no major impact on Innolux's overall operations and shipments. (Jinshi Data)

Nvidia Invests $2 Bln in Marvell for Silicon Photonics Tech Cooperation
Nvidia (NVDA.O) said it has invested $2 billion in Marvell Technology (MRVL.O), and the two sides plan to cooperate in the field of silicon photonics technology. Silicon photonics technology enables high-speed, energy-efficient data transmission, with its two common application fields being artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Huang Renxun said in a statement on Tuesday: “By joining forces with Marvell, we enable clients to leverage Nvidia’s AI infrastructure ecosystem and build dedicated AI computing capabilities at scale.”
