Domestic Iron Ore Brief: Prices in Tangshan Region May Continue to Weaken

During the Qingming Festival holiday, the overall domestic iron ore market remained relatively stable, with some areas of Tangshan experiencing low demand. Additionally, the cost support from price hikes in Chengde region, coupled with the cautious attitude of steel mills towards price hikes, has led to a situation where some manufacturers are hesitant to quote prices for shipments. Steel companies are cautious about price hikes and most traders remain worried, despite orders from steel mills for purchase.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month.
