[SMM Hot Rolled Daily Review: Supply and demand contradictions intensify, short-term hot coil prices consolidate] Without futures guidance today, spot prices of hot-rolled coils weakened slightly compared to the previous day, with average trading performance in the spot market. Entering April, with the transition from off-season to peak season for end-user orders, the incremental space for hot-rolled coil demand is limited. According to the latest research by SMM, driven by orders and profits, most steel mills are actively producing hot-rolled coils. In the short term, hot-rolled coil production may remain at a relatively high level, with some mainstream market inventories slowing down, leading to a slow accumulation of fundamental contradictions.
