【SMM Daily Report: Coking Coal Stable Operation, Seventh Round of Coke Price Cuts Implemented】
On the supply side, coking coal production remains stable with limited impact from safety inspections. On the demand side, the seventh round of coke price cuts was implemented today, exacerbating the pessimistic sentiment among downstream coking plants. Currently, coking plants mainly rely on on-demand procurement, with coking coal inventory generally low. After the implementation of the seventh round of price cuts, the purchasing volume of coking enterprises may further decrease, leading to continued weakening demand. Coking enterprises are eagerly anticipating a reduction in coking coal prices, with expectations that prices will remain stable.
