【SMM Steel Shipping: China's export volume increased by 2% last week】

Last week (March 16, 2024-March 22, 2024), the total shipping volume of steel at SMM national ports was 6.643 million tons, a decrease of 382,700 tons compared to the previous period, a decrease of 5%. Among them, the total shipping volume of the six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian, Bayuquan, Tianjin Xingang, Huanghua Port, Jinzhou Port) was 2.7916 million tons, a decrease of 14,100 tons compared to the previous period, accounting for 42% of the total shipping volume. The total shipping volume of the three major eastern ports (Shanghai Port, Zhangjiagang, Lanbei Port) was 395,100 tons, a decrease of 148.1 tons compared to the previous period...

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
