Dr. Yanchen Wang is the managing director of SMM Global UK Ltd. He is responsible for SMM overseas commodity market research. Outside of Norilsk, Denis is the Chairman of the INSG Statistics Committee, Representative director at the Nickel Institute, and a representative member of the International Platinum Group Metal Association.

Since March 2017 as a secretary general of nickel miner association. Have the capability to handle the proposition and problems in nickel mining Focusing on the welfare of Nickel Miners in Indonesia. Work to develop more cooperation to support economic growth in Indonesia.

Speaker 5: Jim Lennon, Senior Consultant, Macquarie (Confirming)
Jim has 43 years of experience in researching the international metals and mining industries. Worked at Macquarie from 1994 to 2013. Founded his own consulting company, Red Door Research Ltd., in June 2013, specializing in economic analysis of commodity markets. Currently serves as a part-time consultant to Macquarie.

However, after the selling activity subsided, upstream quotations and the market center gradually returned to normal levels, supported by cost factors. Looking ahead, as the Chinese New Year holiday approaches, market activity is expected to remain subdued, and high-grade NPI prices are projected to hover at highs with limited fluctuations.

[SMM Nickel Flash] The SMM average price of 10-12% high-grade NPI fell 17.2 yuan/mtu WoW to 1,035.8 yuan/mtu (ex-factory, tax included), while the Indonesia NPI FOB index average price dropped 2.06 $/mtu WoW to 131.2 $/mtu. At the beginning of the week, futures hit limit-down, and nickel prices fell sharply WoW, driving the emergence of arbitrage supplies sold at low prices, leading to a significant decline in high-grade NPI prices.
