SHANGHAI, Feb 6 (SMM) - According to Guangzhou Futures Exchange, as of the close of trading on February 2, the total number of industrial silicon futures warrants was 45,917 lots, up by 1,934 lots on a week-on-week basis, an increase of 4.4%. In terms of regions, Kunming, Shanghai, and Tianjin occupy the top three positions in terms of the number of warrants, accounting for 31%, 20%, and 15% respectively. The increase in warrants mainly came from Kunming, Jiangsu, and Shanghai, with a week-on-week increase of 480 lots, 395 lots, and 336 lots respectively.

In the penultimate week before the CNY holiday, the weekly growth rate of industrial silicon futures warrants rebounded slightly by 2.2%. The increment of warrants in Kunming increased significantly compared with a week earlier. The increase in warrants in Guangdong and Sichuan delivery warehouses exceeded 100 lots, and the number of warrants in Xinjiang increased by 24 lots. As freight transportation gradually stops before the holiday, it is expected that it will be difficult for goods to enter and exit the delivery warehouse in the short term.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
