At the press conference on the high-quality development of tax services held by the State Council Information Office, Shen Xinguo, Director of the Tax Service Department of the State Administration of Taxation, introduced that in 2023, the tax authorities will efficiently implement green tax preferential policies related to corporate income tax, value-added tax, and vehicle purchase tax, encouraging companies to pursue green and high-quality development. This includes a reduction of 16.7 billion yuan in corporate income tax for income from the comprehensive utilization of resources, and a refund of 56.4 billion yuan in value-added tax for related products and services, encouraging the conservation and utilization of resources. Additionally, 121.8 billion yuan in vehicle purchase tax and vehicle and vessel tax will be exempted for new energy vehicles, promoting carbon reduction in the automotive industry.
