The total amount of coal arriving at Chinese ports reached 7.811 million tons, a decrease of 7.3% compared to the previous period. Among them, the total amount of coal arriving at 11 major ports was 3.442 million tons, an increase of 2.2% compared to the previous period, and the total amount of coal arriving at Guangzhou port was 623,000 tons, an increase of 39.2% compared to the previous period, accounting for 8% of the total amount of coal arriving at ports.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
