On December 28, GAC Group’s ride-hailing platform OnTime and Tencent Cloud signed a collaboration agreement for the establishment of the Qidun Network Data Security Joint Innovation Laboratory.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 28, GAC Group’s ride-hailing platform OnTime and Tencent Cloud signed a collaboration agreement for the establishment of the "Qidun Network Data Security Joint Innovation Laboratory." 

The lab, officially inaugurated on the same day, aims to explore cutting-edge network data security technologies and their application in molibity technology and the automotive industry, fostering high-quality advancements in these sectors.

The collaboration outlines an initial focus on five key areas within the Qidun Lab. These include enhancing capabilities in vehicle networking security, researching network attack and defense strategies, exploring data security technologies, co-building an attack exposure management platform, and constructing a DevSecOps system. Specific goals encompass fortifying the security of V2X cloud platforms, intelligent connected vehicles, and V2X mobile applications.

In the future, the duo will expand their collaboration domains, merging network data security technologies with mobility and automotive ecosystems, and sharing outcomes with GAC Group-affiliated entities to bolster the automaker's overall network security and data protection capabilities. This partnership reflects a commitment to driving innovation at the intersection of network data security and automotive technology.
