Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Second Phase of Guangdong Ruiqing Era Lithium-ion Battery Production Project in Zhaoqing

The news from Zhaoqing shows that on the morning of December 24th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of the Guangdong Ruiqing Era Lithium-ion Battery Production Project was held in the Zhaoqing High-tech Zone. Wu Yingming, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CATL, and Regional President, Ding Aijun, General Manager of Ruiqing Era, Zhang Aijun, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Municipal People's Congress, and Xu Xiaoxiong, Mayor, jointly witnessed the start of the project and held a symposium.

It is understood that the second phase of the lithium battery production project, which started this time, is a supplement to the first phase of production capacity and a deep exploration of the industrial chain. It will not only help break through the production capacity bottleneck of the previous phase, but also prepare for the large-scale production of new energy storage products such as 530Ah. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
