According to SMM research, in November 2023, the total production of 40 independent smelters in China was 3.509 million tons, with an operating rate of 62.4%, an increase of 2 percentage points compared to October. Regional differentiation remains significant nationwide; among them, provinces with a significant increase in operating rates include Anhui, Sichuan, and Liaoning. Provinces with a significant decrease in operating rates include Jiangsu and Jilin. It is expected that the operating rate of smelters in December will increase...

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month.
