"【The largest single-unit scale in the country, the Kubuqi 2 million kilowatt photovoltaic sand control project in Mengxi Base has been successfully connected to the grid】 After more than two years of construction, the Kubuqi 2 million kilowatt photovoltaic sand control project in Mengxi Base, jointly invested and constructed by Three Gorges Energy and GCL New Energy, was recently fully connected to the grid in Hangjin Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. This is currently the largest single-unit scale ecological photovoltaic sand control project in China. This project produces 4.1 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually, saving 1.23 million tons of standard coal burning each year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 3.198 million tons, reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 29,500 tons, reducing nitrogen oxides emissions by 8,600 tons, and reducing dust emissions by 12,300 tons."
