The Science and Technology Department of Shanxi Province revealed that Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. successfully developed the super ultra-pure ferrite TFC22-X connector material and achieved mass production, filling the domestic blank and solving the critical strategic material "neck-tying" problem in the fuel cell industry. China's fuel cell industry started late, and there are still many problems in industrial development, with fuel cell stack connector materials being the most important. To solve this problem, the research and development team overcame the key technical bottleneck of precise control of special element content, solved the metallurgical problem of high special stainless steel, and developed a series of deformation systems, heating, and cooling technologies for toughness control. These innovations achieved stable production of high-chromium ferrite stainless steel, solved the technical problems of heat treatment and pickling of series products, and ensured stable control of product performance and surface quality.
