In October, 9,044 mt of lithium carbonate were imported from Chile, accounting for 84.04% of China’s total imports. And from January to October, a total of 105,500 mt of lithium carbonate were imported from Chile, up 4.13% YoY.

As the largest source of China’s lithium carbonate imports, Chile's lithium carbonate exports to China increased to 16,791 mt in October, up 7.45% MoM. Considering factors such as shipping cycle, there is a time lag of 1 to 2 months between Chile’s exports and China's imports.
