Daily LME Base Metals Inventory Changes (Nov 20)

SHANGHAI, Nov 14 (SMM) – The aluminium ingot social inventories across China’s eight major markets totalled 553,000 mt as of November 14, down 23,000 mt from last Thursday.

SMM survey showed that copper inventories in domestic bonded zones dipped 2,600 mt from November 4 to 28,300 mt as of November 11.

SMM data shows that zinc ingot social inventories across seven major markets in China totalled 60,500 mt as of November 11, up 400 mt from this Monday (November 7) and up 1,000 mt from a week earlier (November 4)

This is a roundup of China's metals weekly inventory as of November 11.

Overall, the total inventory in Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin fell 2,200 mt, and that across seven major markets in China dipped 2,900 mt.

As of October 14, the social inventory of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin was 67,500 mt, up 1,400 mt from before the National Day holiday and 1,400 mt from Monday (October 10).

SHANGHAI, Oct 13 (SMM) - Aluminium ingot: The aluminium ingot social inventories across China’s eight major markets totalled 655,000 mt as of October 13, a drop of 19,000 mt from October 8, the first trading day after the National Day holiday.

The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 6.29 million mt as of Thursday October 13, up 103,700 mt or 1.7% from before the National Day holiday (September 29), and down 28.2% from the same period last year.

Except for 400-series, both the in-plant inventory of 200 and 300-series fell. Among them, the in-plant inventory of 300-series has been falling for two straight months, but the overall inventory held by steel mills was still relatively high compared with historical data.
