Shougang Corporation recently accepted investor research and stated that the company's new energy vehicle-specific electric steel production line has been running smoothly since it was put into production in 2022, and the output has been steadily increasing. The production capacity of new energy vehicle non-oriented high-grade electric steel has reached 550,000 tons; the high-performance oriented silicon steel project was successfully put into production this year, increasing the production capacity of thin-gauge oriented electric steel by 90,000 tons; the high-end silicon steel heat treatment project will be put into production in 2024, further enhancing the production capacity of the company's high-grade electric steel products. In the first three quarters of 2023, the company's high-end electric steel products accounted for 64%, and it is expected that by 2025, the total output of the company's electric steel will reach 2.2-2.3 million tons, and the output of high-end products will account for more than 70%.
