On November 11th, the commissioning ceremony of Qingdao Bangtuo New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was held. Jointly established by Shanxi Jianbang and Zheshang Zhongtuo in November 2018, with a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan, Qingdao Bangtuo is the only modern enterprise in China's coastal area with the function of import hematite (magnetic) ore selection and ball group processing. After the commissioning of Qingdao Bangtuo, the ore selection capacity can reach 5 million tons/year and the ball group processing capacity can reach 4 million tons/year. In the future, Qingdao Bangtuo will start the second phase of 8 million tons ore selection and hydrogen metallurgy project in due course, striving to become the benchmark of ore selection and ball group processing industry in China, and helping the steel industry to achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
