SMM Steel reported on November 9th that the total inventory of hot-rolled coils this week was 3.5424 million tons, down by 61,000 tons from last week, a decrease of 1.69% year-on-year and an increase of 39.22%. The total inventory, social inventory and factory inventory of hot coils continued the trend of slight decrease from last week. On the supply side, the output of hot coils was basically stable compared with last week, and the overall pressure on the supply side was stable. On the demand side, the price of hot coils fluctuated and rose this week, and terminal purchases were mainly based on demand, and the demand was generally stable compared with last week.
