This week, according to SMM statistics, the total inventory of hot-rolled coils in 69 warehouses (large sample) across the country was 3.9447 million tons, down 51,000 tons from the previous week, a decrease of 1.28%, and the inventory has been decreasing for five consecutive weeks. In terms of demand, the recent roller price fluctuated upwards, the market sentiment improved, and the terminal demand for just-in-time purchases was improved, which led to the continuation of the downward trend in inventory this week. Regionally, this week, except for a slight increase in inventory in the Northeast region, the South China, Central China, East China and North China regions all decreased compared with the same period last week.
