On November 2, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publicly solicited opinions on the Implementation Plan for High-quality Development of Green Building Materials (Draft for Soliciting Opinions). The plan proposes that by 2025, the annual business income of green building materials will exceed 260 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of more than 15% in 2023-2025. By 2027, the level of "energy saving, emission reduction, low-carbon safety, convenience and recyclability" in the whole life cycle of green building materials will be further improved, a number of internationally renowned green building material production enterprises and product brands will be formed, and star-rated green buildings will strive for the full promotion of green building materials.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
