SMM Steel reported on November 2nd that the total inventory of hot rolled coils was 3,604,100 tons this week, a decrease of 51,400 tons from last week, a decrease of 1.41% year-on-year and an increase of 33.41%. Hot rolled coil total inventory, social inventory and plant inventory have maintained the de-inventory channel for 4 consecutive weeks, but the decline has narrowed. On the supply side, hot rolled coil output continued to decline this week, but the reduction space narrowed. On the demand side, the price trend of this week's period coils was strong, and the terminal procurement enthusiasm was suppressed, which overall slowed the decline of social inventory.
