The Xinjiang Development and Reform Commission issued a document stating that in order to give full play to the role of coal and electricity as a bottom-line guarantee, vigorously promote the construction of supporting coal and electricity projects, and newly build and put into operation 2.99 million kilowatts of coal and electricity units. Strengthen the operation and management of coal and electricity units, minimize non-planned shutdowns and output restrictions, and ensure that the units "should be opened and fully opened, and more sent". Improve the level of coal storage in power plants. By the end of September, the coal storage of 50 main public power plants in the region was nearly 10 million tons, and the average available days were maintained at more than 36 days, far exceeding the average coal storage days required by the country, which fully guaranteed the coal demand and stable operation of coal and electricity units. In-depth excavation of various sources of peak regulation such as hydropower, energy storage, and self-owned power plants, and continuously improve the peak regulation capacity.
