On October 28th, the first concrete pouring of the No.1 boiler foundation of the 2×1 million kilowatt coal-electric integrated expansion project of Zunde Power Plant was successfully completed, marking the project entering into the full construction stage.

The 2×1 million kilowatt coal-electric integrated expansion project of Zunde Power Plant of Inner Mongolia Energy Group is located in the Coal Chemical Park of Dalu Industrial Park in Zuonkeerqi, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The 2×1 million kilowatt coal-electric integrated expansion project of Zunde Power Plant has an installed capacity of 2×1 million kilowatts, and two 1 million kilowatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical air-cooled coal-fired generators are installed, and the synchronous supporting facilities for flue gas desulfurization and denitrification are constructed. The project is planned to start in August 2023 (subject to the notice of the tenderer), and the No.1 unit is planned to be put into production on October 30, 2025, and the No.2 unit is planned to be put into production on December 30, 2025.
