According to the General Administration of Customs, from January to September 2023, the cumulative imports of coarse powder were 603.749 million tons, the cumulative imports of fine powder were 97.344 million tons, the cumulative imports of lump ore were 157.473 million tons, and the cumulative imports of ball groups were 18.086 million tons.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month.
