On October 13th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the "Synthetic Ammonia Industry Standard Conditions" standard. It mentioned that synthetic ammonia enterprises should formulate carbon reduction plans. For enterprises using coal as raw material, the unit emission of carbon dioxide for synthetic ammonia products shall not exceed 4.2 tons; for enterprises using natural gas and coke oven gas as raw materials, the unit emission of carbon dioxide for synthetic ammonia products shall not exceed 1.8 tons (calculated according to Part 10 of the "Requirements for Greenhouse Gas Emission Accounting and Reporting: Chemical Production Enterprises" (GB/T32151.10)).

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
