On October 18, a roof collapse accident occurred in the Qianwan Coal Mine of Jiaoning Coal Group in Linfen, Shanxi Province, resulting in one death. Production has been stopped and rectified. The mine has a rated capacity of 800,000 tons, mainly producing high-quality low-sulfur main coal. Production in other mines in the region has not been affected. In addition, other mines and surrounding mines in the group will face frequent safety checks in the future, and the output is expected to be restricted to varying degrees.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
