According to SMM research, on October 18th, the blast furnace start-up rate of SMM statistics was 91.38%, down 0.15% from the previous week. The blast furnace capacity utilization rate was 92.68%, down 0.2% from the previous period. The daily iron ore output of the sample steel plant was 2.2053 million tons, down 0.0026 million tons from the previous period.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month.
