Hunan Gold announced that its subsidiary Hunan Gold Cave Mining Co., Ltd. Yangshanzhuang Gold Mine temporarily suspended production due to "At around 23:20 on October 16, 2023, an assistant worker at the 180th section of Yangshanzhuang Gold Mine in the project department of Hunan Chang'an Well Lane Engineering Co., Ltd. was pressed to the chest by a mining truck when leaving work, and died after rescue." According to Article 65.1.2 of the Safety Production Law of the People's Republic of China, Yueyang Emergency Management Bureau ordered the temporary suspension of production at Yangshanzhuang Gold Mine, the headquarters of Hunan Gold Cave Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company.
