Sheng Laiyun, Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, said that in the past three years, the private economy has been greatly impacted by the epidemic, especially small and micro enterprises, so the recovery of enterprises needs a process. In the PMI index, the PMI of large enterprises is above the critical point of 50%, and the PMI of small enterprises is 48%. Therefore, it is necessary to continue to implement the central policies and measures to develop and strengthen the private economy, increase the implementation of policies and measures, and consolidate and strengthen the foundation for the development of the private economy.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
