On the morning of October 8th, the Caofeidian Ore Storage and Transportation Base Project started construction in Caofeidian District. The start of construction of the Caofeidian Ore Storage and Transportation Base Project is a concrete practice of Tangshan City to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions during his inspection of Hebei and Tangshan, and to accelerate the pace of Tangshan's "three efforts to build" and "three leading in the front"; It is also an important measure to carry out the theme education in depth, learn from ideas, strengthen party spirit, focus on practice, and build new achievements, and strive to write a chapter of Hebei and Tangshan's modernization construction in Chinese style. The project is jointly constructed by Hebei Port Group and Caofeidian Modern Supply Chain Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 23 billion yuan. The main construction includes ore yard, pipeline and loading and unloading berth projects, which are expected to increase the storage and transportation capacity to 40 million tons, with operating income of 2.98 billion yuan and profit of 1.18 billion yuan by 2027. At that time, the resilience and safety level of the city's iron ore industry chain supply chain will be effectively improved.
