According to SMM research, the total global iron ore shipment for this period was 35.99 million tons, an increase of 25.3% year-on-year. Among them, Australia shipped 18.86 million tons, an increase of 20.6% year-on-year; Australia shipped 16.1 million tons to China, accounting for 85.8% of the total Australian shipment, an increase of 28.4% year-on-year. Brazil shipped 9.52 million tons, an increase of 40% year-on-year; Brazil shipped 386 tons to China, accounting for 40.5% of the total Brazilian shipment, an increase of 65.7% year-on-year.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
