Several railway drivers from unions in the UK will hold several strikes in protest of high inflation and living costs, starting from local time September 30th. The Association of Train Operating Engineers and Firefighters (ASLEF) plan to hold strikes on September 30th and October 4th, and the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) plan to hold strikes on October 4th and October 6th. According to British media reports, the strike involves railway drivers from at least 19 railway companies. Train and subway operations will be affected two days before and after the strike, causing great inconvenience to British residents. (CaiLianShe)
