SMM Weekly Review: Brief Review of the Price of Three-element Pre-cursor This Week

SMM September 28th News: The price of three-element pre-cursor is temporarily stable this week. On the cost side, the price of cobalt sulfate has a downward trend, and the price of nickel sulfate is stable as downstream warehouses are gradually replenished, and the cost of three-element pre-cursor manufacturing is stable. On the supply side, due to the weak downstream orders, the opening rate of some export-oriented manufacturers has declined significantly. On the demand side, the price of lithium is not stable, and positive factories purchase on demand to maintain low inventory of raw materials. In the future, it is expected that nickel and cobalt will be weak in rising, and the price of three-element pre-cursor will be stable.

Battery-Grade Lithium Sulfide: Will Q4 See a Spike?
Key takeaway upfront: A Q4 spike is unlikely, but we do expect continued moderate growth. Monthly output is likely to settle in the 9–10 tonne range – a modest step-up from Q3, not an explosive leap.
