This week, according to SMM statistics, the total inventory of hot-rolled social warehouses in 69 warehouses (large sample) nationwide was 4.0556 million tons, down by 32,000 tons from last week, a decrease of 0.78%. The inventory decreased slightly compared with last week. This week, domestic hot-rolled production increased slightly. On the demand side, the near-holiday combined with the continuous decline in coil prices stimulated terminal procurement and released quantity. Under the comprehensive influence, the inventory decreased slightly this week. Regionally, South China, East China and Central China decreased slightly, and Northeast and North China accumulated to varying degrees. In detail:

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
