The National Development and Reform Commission and other departments issued the "Electricity Demand Side Management Measures (2023 Edition)". It is mentioned that the capacity of demand response should be improved. By 2025, the capacity of demand response of each province should reach 3%-5% of the maximum electricity load, and the provinces with an annual peak-valley difference rate of more than 40% should reach 5% or above. By 2030, a large-scale real-time demand response capacity should be formed, and the sharing and mutual aid of demand-side resources in the power grid area can be realized through the combination of auxiliary service market and electricity energy market transactions.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
