SHANGHAI, Sep 18 (SMM) –Last week, recharging polysilicon prices ranged between 76-90 yuan/kg, and dense polysilicon was between 75-87 yuan/kg, with slight fluctuations.

SHANGHAI, Sep 18 (SMM) –Last week, recharging polysilicon prices ranged between 76-90 yuan/kg, and dense polysilicon was between 75-87 yuan/kg, with slight fluctuations. Following the completion of September polysilicon orders, the market saw few large transactions. Some small orders were completed at relatively high prices, but don't represent the overall market trend. Both upstream and downstream markets anticipate a weaker polysilicon market in October. Currently, low inventory levels are temporarily supporting the market.

The origin mix of solar cell flows into the US shifted sharply in 2026. SMM analysis of global solar cell trade-flow data shows that approximately 37.32 GW of cells moved into the US market in January–July.
