SHANGHAI, Sep 11 (SMM) –Nickel sulphate prices rose in the week ending September 7. Nickel salt producers had largely sold out their inventory. Precursor companies purchased based on rigid demand. Concerns over Indonesian corruption amplifying raw material supply shortages left refined nickel producers in a rush to stock up nickel sulphate. The fundamentals supported the strengthening price of nickel sulphate. On the cost side, lingering quota issues with Indonesian mines and shipping delays tightened raw material supplies. Rising MHP coefficients provided solid cost-side support. Nickel sulphate prices are expected to rebound further in the week ending September 15.
