According to the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, a research symposium on accelerating the construction of a unified national market was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi on the afternoon of September 6. The meeting requires that we should further improve the political stance, strengthen the main responsibility, resolutely break down local protection, facilitate the national circulation, and better connect the domestic resource market; adhere to the problem-oriented approach, take practical and effective measures to solve problems, and implement special rectification work in the fields of bidding and tendering; further actively increase the impetus of system and mechanism reform, adhere to the "establishing rules", "breaking down fences" and "digging up soil", and make every effort to promote the construction of a unified national market.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
